Steve Kortenkamp, Ph.D.
Dr. Kortenkamp leads the Teaching Teams program and teaches astronomy classes in the Flandrau Planetarium. Dr. Kortenkamp received UA's College of Science Innovations in Teaching award and is a prolific author of children's science books. He is also currently working on a NSF project to develop new astronomy teaching techniques for blind students.

Mrs. Edwards works alongside Dr. Kortenkamp within the Teaching Teams Program. She holds a Bachelor's in Information Science & eSociety from the University of Arizona, and is a current UArizona graduate student, pursing a Master's in Healthcare Management with an emphasis in Healthcare Innovation (Marketing, Entrepreneurship, and Quality and Reliability). During her undergraduate career, she also minored in Professional Development within Higher Education. Outside of academics, Edwards volunteers to teach local K-12 students how to stay active through the sport of baton twirling. She is also a proud dog mom of a Pembroke Welsh Corgi.
Kayli is a Senior at the University of Arizona. She is majoring in Physics and Astronomy, as well as Mathematics and Planetary Sciences.
Ashley is a Junior at the University of Arizona. She is majoring in Care, Health, and Society and minoring in both Spanish and Business Administration. Ashley is thrilled to be a part of the Teaching Teams Program. She enjoys empowering students and helping them to build their professional skills. Ashley loves reading, dancing, and meeting new people.
Blythe Giddings is a Senior at the University of Arizona. She is pursuing a major in Psychology and a minor in Religious Studies. She has joined the Teaching Teams because she enjoys working in groups as well as empowering students to share their knowledge. Blythe loves reading, listening to music, and spending time with friends.
Anthony Jimenez Young
Anthony is a Junior at the University of Arizona. He is currently a major of Astronomy, a prospective major of Physics, & is minoring in Astrobiology. He joined the Teaching Team at UA to help students develop professional skills while continuing to hone his own. Anthony has many interests that range from cars to coffee, reading to music, & (as long as the sun is not melting both he & his clubs,) the occasional round of golf.
Desiree is a Senior at the University of Arizona. She is majoring in Psychology and minoring in Criminology. Desiree became a part of the Teaching Teams Program to help students build their professional skills in a fun and creative way. Desiree loves crime podcasts/shows, gardening, and spending time with her family/friends.
