Testimonials

I have seen in the past few months that my work is better when I start it earlier. So whereas I may not yet be the perfect, procrastination-free student, I have improved a great deal from where I once was. I can finally say that I am proud of the work I have done.

The Teaching Teams Program is a great way for your students to enhance their learning, get more involved in their education, and develop strong communication and teamwork skills. If you have students who may be interested but don’t know how to go about finding a preceptorship, send them to our “How to Become a Preceptor” section of our website. This page also explains our course offerings and who can sign up for which class.

A preceptorship is a great way for a student to balance out a course schedule with heavy lectures. Our 3 unit courses are demanding because they force students out of their comfort zones to learn new skills and interact with different people they would not normally be around. But since Preceptors learn by doing, they often find that the demands of the course are “easy” to meet because most of what they need to do is show up and participate.

We at TTP would be happy to work with Academic Advisors to help find appropriate preceptorships for interested students. There is one key caveat. Successful preceptorships take many forms but the one thing they all have in common is that the individual student has some intrinsic motivation, particular to them, for getting involved. A preceptorship is not the place for a student who is only looking to fill out their schedule and could care less about what is happening in the classroom. If you have interested students, please send them to the Student section of our website and have them check out our program for themselves. Make sure they understand what they are getting in to. For more information, please do not hesitate to contact us.
